Data We Collect
We log anonymized interactions: pages visited, buttons clicked, session duration. This helps us identify UI pain points without tracking individuals. No personal data is stored unless you submit a contact form—even then, we only retain what’s necessary to respond.
Cookies & Analytics
First-party cookies remember your language preference and whether you’ve seen age-gate warnings. We use a self-hosted analytics tool that doesn’t share data with advertisers. No invasive fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
Third-Party Embeds
Demo gameplay uses a direct iframe from Galaxsys’ servers—they may set their own functional cookies for session stability. Our site never embeds social media widgets, ad trackers, or any external scripts beyond the game demo itself.
Data Retention
Analytics data auto-deletes after 14 months. Contact form submissions are purged after one year unless legally required to retain them. Server logs rotate weekly. We don’t hoard what we don’t need.
Your Rights
Request a full export of your data (minimal as it is) or deletion via contact@thebasement.games. We’ll process valid requests within 30 days. Note that anonymized gameplay stats can’t be isolated or removed—they’re aggregate pathways, not personal trails.
Security
HTTPS encrypts all traffic. Regular penetration testing ensures vulnerabilities are patched before exploitation. Payment processing happens entirely through licensed casinos—we never handle financial data.
